Stayed here either side of mountain biking the Paparoa Track. Rooms were really comfortable and living area was very relaxing. The Site Manager, Chris, went out of his way to set up our transfers to Blackball and sorted us with everything we needed, including a hose to wash our bikes down. Highly recommended!

Unique retreat, close to the coast. Simple, but accommodating cottages inside native forest. Note that you will have to climb up to your cottage, also at night, ie not for the disabled. Other guests also mentioned manager Chris, and they were right to do so, because he does an absolutely wonderful job in helping you around and make you feel comfortable.

Nestled into the bush just above a stunning beach, this hostel is cozy with a big fire and practical kitchen facilities, welcoming the a great host who showed us all the best local spots, and tranquil: our Stargazer Hut was tucked away in the quiet of the bush with moreporks calling at night, and a skylight for stargazing. Walking access to kayaking, pancake rocks, caves, beach. Only criticism: could do with a new pillow in the hut ;)

Lovely private spot - full kitchen available which was great! Super close to the beach, with a walkway straight from the property Friendly hosts and dogs Make sure to take insect repellent, but if you forget they have natural stuff available to purchase along with some basic foodstuffs

Gorgeous accommodation. Shout out to Chris, absolutely lovely guy and made us feel super welcome and was really helpful with local tips. Would recommend to anyone passing through, set on a wicked property to explore.
