What a lovely hotel! The room we had was a family room, with a king bed and two single beds all in the same area. The room has a kitchen, with an electric cook top, a microwave, a fridge, and kitchenware. Guests could certainly cook their meals inside. The room was lovely and cozy, and very clean! The bathroom was also very nice and clean. The water pressure in the shower (no bathtub) was also not bad. It's in walking distance to restaurants and helicopter tour places, no need to drive anywhere. It's also a short drive from the glacier trail. Overall, we highly recommend this little gem in Franz Joseph!

We arrived in Franz Josef and selected this hotel from among many choices based on its attractive rooms, location, and cleanliness. We have stayed in accomodations throughout Europe, North America, and Oceania, and this is one of the nicest hotel rooms we've had. The room was beautiful, with floor to ceiling windows looking out to the snow capped peaks beyond. All the little touches that make a hotel special were included: thick white towels (and plenty of them); soft pillows; a luxurious en-suite jacuzzi tub; tea, coffee, and even a french press; a fully equipped mini-kitchen; a king size bed, sofa, and dining table. The hotel is a quick walk to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. Parking is right outside the room, making it easy to retrieve luggage. Anthony was very welcoming and helped us find a dinner spot. I don't write reviews often, so when I do, it means the place really stood out. Our only regret was not being able to stay another night. Please note this is a motor court, and so no central lobby, bar, restaurant...
I loved this place to stay. Check in great with the lovely Anthony. Made me feel welcome. Lights and heater on for me. Lovely room. Table and chairs . Lounge chairs to watch the great tv. Free wifi. Kitchen with everything I needed. Lovely bathroom with toiletries and hair dryer. Clean and tidy . Room serviced daily. Hot drinks sachets and real milk provided. Perfect location in centre of town. Close to intercity bus stop. Always warm. Good bed and pillows. Good value. Couldn’t have wished for anything more. ????
